Lib2Gov.org is an engagement platform for library and government agency collaboration around digital/e-government services. It was designed to provide resources that help librarians in thinking about the provision of e-government services in their libraries, to deepen ties between librarians and government agencies, to facilitate a community of practice among librarians, and to identify key resources and services to assist librarians in meeting the needs of their communities. Lib2gov is hosted by the Information Policy and Access Center at the University of Maryland and the American Library Association.
The Government Publishing Office (GPO) is the official source for information products and services for all three branches of the United State Government. GPO provides permanent public access to Federal Government information at no charge through the Federal Digital System and partnerships with approximately 1,200 libraries nationwide participating in the Federal Depository Library Program.
